Critical Care Outreach Forum

These forums comprises of representatives from each of our units’ critical care Outreach teams (or equivalent) along with nursing and Allied Health Professionals (AHPs), who work either within critical care or who support patients recently discharged from critical care areas. The focus of activity for these groups relate to the early recognition of patients at risk of deterioration as well as the improvement in relation to rehabilitation services offered to patients across Lancashire and South Cumbria Critical Care.
Meetings take place every 3 months and the Chair of the forums reportsdirectly to the network Clinical Effectiveness Group.
